October 23 - October 24

UPCOMING: Online Marketing – Getting Found on the Web” (November 4HERE) and “Making a Living from Art or Craft” (November 25).  See CLASS SERIES at http://heartwoodfolkschool.ca/sustainable-enterprise.

This Heartwood Folk School class series about “MAKING A SUSTAINABLE LIVING ON AN ISLAND” involves classes at the Pender Island Community Hall, and we also welcome folks from our sister Southern Gulf Islands – Galiano, Mayne and Saturna!

These classes are for: anyone wanting to start up or grow an island enterprise or non-profit (including younger persons); existing businesses; people who want to create an island job; or non-profits interested in skill-building or social enterprise.

We’re very grateful to CRD Southern Gulf Islands Director David Howe, for supporting this series!
