Here’s a note from Pender Restorative Justice, about a community-building training that they are offering, which we totally support!
From Jim Peacock: Here is an invitation to the “Art of Hosting Meaningful Conversations” training session, co-hosted by the International Institute for Child Rights and Development (IICRD) and the Pender Island Restorative Justice Program. This intensive 3 day training session begins with an introduction on the evening of November 1 and carries through to the afternoon of November 4. This will be a seminal event for the Pender Island RJ Program, as we seek to “deepen our practice and expand our vision towards a ‘restorative’ community for socio-economic and environmental sustainability on Pender and within the Gulf Islands”.
To register, please go to http://youngpartnersindevelopment.org/ The training will be attended by interested parties from all over, so please note the deadlines for application on the attachment. If you have any questions, please contact me or Derek Masselink at firstname.lastname@example.org . We hope you are able to come.
